Antonio Dalferes papers, 1822-1838.

Papers chiefly concern financial matters and include receipts, accounts of debts, testamentary papers, slave bills of sale, and land documents. Testamentary papers include a receipt from the succession of Joseph Sevallos, promissory notes to the estate of S. Navarro, and the appointment of Dalferes as administrator for the estate of Francisco Machado. Other papers include an account of debt owed by Pierre Sanchez, a letter from Belu Hubbard concerning the sale of a slave, and records of sales and transfers of land and slaves between Dalferes and other residents of Assumption Parish including Pedro Allemand, Rosanna Comstock, Jean Cevallos, Matthew Martinez, Maria Mora, Juan Mouton, Francisco Ramirez, Diego and Maria Romero, Antonio Sanchez, and Antonio Vela.
